CR4VE Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of CR4VE (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms, our Community Guidelines, our Privacy Policy, and our Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. By using CR4VE, you confirm that you meet this requirement and can legally enter into these Terms.

3. Your account

You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.

You may not use someone else’s account, share your credentials, or sell or transfer your account.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.

4. Safety and your interactions

CR4VE does not conduct background checks or verify the identity of all users. You are responsible for your interactions with others, including meetings that occur off the Service.

CR4VE is not an emergency service. If you are in danger, contact local authorities.

Safety tips

You are responsible for making safe choices when meeting others. We recommend the following:

• Verify identity with a video or voice call before meeting.
• Meet in a public place first and arrange your own transport home.
• Tell a trusted friend where you are going and set a check-in time or share your live location.
• Limit personal information on your profile and be cautious about sharing private or sensitive material.
• Use in-app tools to block or report anyone who makes you uncomfortable.
• Trust your instincts and leave immediately if something feels off.

5. Location-based features

The Service uses location to show nearby users and enable location sharing in chat. You can control location settings in the app. Distances are approximate and should not be relied upon for precise location or safety.

Do not use the Service as an emergency locator system, while driving, or in hazardous environments where failure could cause injury or damage.

6. User content

The Service allows you to upload profile photos (avatars), albums, stories, create profile details, and exchange messages and media with other users ("User Content").

You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant CR4VE a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display your User Content solely to operate, maintain, and improve the Service (including moderation and safety workflows), in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

You represent that you have the rights and permissions to post your User Content and that it does not violate these Terms or the rights of others.

Avatar photos and public album media may be reviewed by automated safety systems before approval and may also be reviewed manually by moderators where needed. Story media follows the same moderation flow. Chat content is reviewed when it is reported by users, with human moderator escalation where needed.

Reports may include snapshots of recent messages for safety investigations. Blocking can remove chats and interactions, but reports may be retained as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service if you are under 18
• Use the Service for commercial solicitation without our consent
• Harass, threaten, stalk, defame, or impersonate others
• Post or share content that is illegal, abusive, hateful, sexually exploitative, or discriminatory
• Share content that violates privacy, publicity, or intellectual property rights
• Upload malware, phishing, or harmful code
• Attempt to access another user's account or data
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to access the Service without permission
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or bypass security protections
• Interfere with the Service or its availability

We may remove content or restrict accounts if we determine it violates these Terms or creates safety risks.

8. Third-party services and links

CR4VE uses third-party services to provide the Service (for example, authentication and media storage). Your use of the Service may be subject to those providers' terms and policies.

The Service may include links to third-party sites. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or practices.

9. Subscriptions, trials, and billing

CR4VE offers paid subscriptions through the Apple App Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android). Pricing, billing cadence, and renewal terms are displayed in the app at the time of purchase and are managed by your app store account.

Subscriptions generally renew automatically unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time via your app store settings. Refunds and billing disputes are handled by the app store provider unless required by law.

We may change pricing or subscription offerings prospectively. Any changes will apply at the next renewal unless otherwise required by law.

10. Restrictions on profile sharing

• You may not share profile links with the intent to harass, coordinate mass reporting, or facilitate stalking.
• Circumventing our sharing controls (for example, screenshotting and re-sharing profiles externally) violates these Terms.
• Sharing another user's profile link without their knowledge for malicious purposes may result in permanent account suspension.

11. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, text, and logos, is owned by CR4VE or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from the Service except as expressly permitted by law.

12. Termination and account deletion

You may stop using the Service at any time. You may delete your account in the app. If you cannot access the app, you can submit a web deletion request at `https://cr4ve.app/account-deletion`. Account deletion is subject to a 28-day retention window during which your profile is hidden and you are logged out. If you log back in during this window, you can restore your account. After the window, your account and data are permanently deleted.

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if we believe your use presents legal or safety risks. We may remove or disable access to User Content if required by law or safety policies.

13. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

We do not verify the identity of all users. Use caution when interacting with others.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CR4VE is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from use of the Service.

15. Indemnity

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold CR4VE harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice in the Service or by email. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

17. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ireland, unless mandatory local law provides otherwise.
